Shelves on pro ribbed tin

I need your ideas guys. I have searched on here and on google with no real answers. I will be putting the pro ribbed tin on my walls but i also want to put up shelves for storage, radios etc.

My thoughts are to use a 2x6 in the gap and build off that.

what ideas can you share with me?

Might depend on type of building. If pole barn with horizontal 2x's, you should span at least 2 of them to give the shelf proper support. Since the ribs are about 3/4" proud, maybe you can get away with 1x4 verticals with metal L brackets to hold the actual shelf.

I bought the shallow unistrut with solid back. Just drilling the back for where the tin is already screwed to the wall. The shallow unistrut is just taller than the rib when mounted. From there you can do whatever you can think up for shelves and bracing without a bunch of extra holes in the tin.
