I am at the stage in my garage build where I want to epoxy the floor. It is a 950 SqFt shop with brand new concrete (a little over 2 months old). Mostly just hobby machine work and boat/motorcycle restoration. However I do have Hilo that I'll use once in a while.

I just started looking for epoxy and have been overwhelmed by the amount of options out there. So I went up to my local Sherwin Williams (have a pro discount) and got a quote for their 100% solids epoxy and primer, the ArmorSeal 33 primer and ArmorSeal 650 top coat. I figured I'd need 5 gallons of primer and 10 gallons of top coat. The quote I got for this was $1200.

Has anyone ever used this paint? How is it holding up?
Is there some other brands I should look at? (Maybe a better value?) Or ones I should stay away from? I'm open to any help/recommendations/or tips!

I've not used it, but in checking the Sherwin williams it does look to be a primer + Epoxy. (Although I hate hearing the word "Paint" when referring to floor coatings as that is what all the garbage big box stuff calls their stuff "epoxy paint" which is just junk and quickly lifts.

But you will also need a top coat (not the epoxy coat) that is provides UV protection and additional protection for the Epoxy coat.
