With out much research, I picked up some TileClad II, two part epoxy floor covering. I went with Sherwin Williams because many of my friends who I associate with have used Sherwin Williams with good success. I like the tile clad, because I can set the color to anything I want, as they mix the color in the store for you. I went with a light tan.

Ok, so sorry, no pictures yet, but I promise I will.

Long of the short, its a two part. and cost me approximate $140 for the A/B mix. Pretty pricey, but I've heard nothing but horror stories of people using the stuff from Lowes and HomeDepot.

Prep
I acid etched once, and about died. It didnt go so well. Improper application can kill you.
I acid etched agian, and faired much better. I figgured using a bucket with 50/50 water and that nasty acid, slung low across the floor would work. The concrete smoked for 5 minutes, and all was well.
Then I broke out the plug in cheap power washer. I'd LOVE to have rented a massive earth moving pressure washer. After three days of power washing every last granual off, it was time to paint.

Painting
I screwed up. I thought it'd be easier to pour some on the floor and spread it out. Nu-uh. It's just too thick, and I only had so much time, So I went about trying to save some paint... and I ended up spread it too thin, and still running out of paint. No good. I'm not happy.

Painting, part two.
So I bought more. :( But, I'm happy with the results. I plunged the roller in the bucket as I learned earlier, and it spread much easier and thinner. I didnt add a grip adative tho. I tend to lay on the floor alot. Also, I've always carpeted my garages... or more specifically, I make large rugs from carpet, so I can roll em out of the way to clean/paint/whatever.

After two weeks of curing in the texas heat, Everyone is happy. I'm VERY happy. No peeling yet. It's been about one month now. I've dropped hammers on it, and nothing ... not even a mark.

ps, i'm a newb, and this is my newb post.

Glad someone had some luck with Sherwin Williams. I went there intending on doing my floor in the 2 part in Gull Gray. The salesman at my local store advised me their epoxy garage floor paint wasn't reccomended for garage floors :headscrat no ****...I went with another brand of a colored solvent based sealer. No regrets......my floor turned out great.

A couple pics, but before I put em up, I want to make a note or two

Firstly, this garage, while small, has significant plans which have all been layed out in CAD/3D and modeled extensively. Not just work benches either... tons of storage too. And I'll still be able to get two cars comfortably in there.

So, on the second application of the epoxy, I had some product left in the bottom of the bucket, where it stayed for about 5 weeks. I went to try and reuse the bucket, and the stuff, after much coaxing, came out of the bucket in a large chunk.
To my suprise, the stuff was a hard rubber. Um, Softer then a tire, but not by much... You could but your finger nail in it and make an imprint, but it'd rebound within a second. I like that.

Well, when you buy the TileClad II product, you can make it *any* color you want. I knew I wanted a light tan/beige color, so I got something called simple beige or simply beige.

The color was much lighter then I thought it would be, but I'm not upset about that... it still looks fine. It's a garage floor after all. I've had a car sitting on it for about two weeks... when I pulled it out, there was nothing. No tire marks, ... nothing. So far, so good.

Another view... Theres a bit of shine there.

Pretty much looks like any other epoxy floor.
Oh, I did not add sprinkles, or grit. I didn't
even ask if it was available.
