I've been looking at getting a new box for a while, but haven't had any luck with the local Snap On dealer, cause he's a ****, and no luck with the Matco guy since he just doesn't have a lot to choose from. I've seen several on ebay but am hesitant to ship a box cross country. Have any of you guys gone thru it? Was it worth it in the end, by the time you figure in shipping? Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks.

my brother sold his box. I think it was about 72" we built a pallet for it then double wrapped it in cardboard then shrinkwrap. It was less than 250 for roadway to take it from us (near chicago) to CT.

I'd say it was worth it

Personally I was afraid if I had my toolbox shipped it would be damaged. Luckily it was about 200 miles away so I loaded on my trailer. My trailer is pretty good size but the box sure made it look small.

Of course if it's packed well and not mishandled it will arrive undamaged. I concluded the odds of that happening at less than zero percent.
