Interdesting, but that home is extremely ugly!

I think it’s just his shop. I have followed his channel for a while now and I believe he has had his home in some older videos.

Nevermind that is his house.

I don’t get the impression after watching most of his videos that he would care much you felt his home was ugly :D

I think you would see where I’m coming from if you spent just a few minutes on one of his videos.

The first floor is his shop. He's slowly turning the 2nd and 3rd floor into livable space. He still has his home in the city.

I have two 40’ hi cubes, not using them for a work shop, just storage. Built Shelves and racks, great instant storage although they do need more ventilation. The nice part is i take them when we move, relatively cheap and easy to move and set up.

We use connex boxes for storage and work areas at some of our on-site plants. Very secure heavy duty storage which is nice for the high plains where we see high winds and big hail that would destroy a normal "tuff shed" type deal. The only downside to the connex boxes is they are a billion degrees in the summer and cold in the winter.

We use them a lot at work also for tool storage and some as shelter for the crew, what we do is have the carpenters build a wall with a door a few feet inside the big double doors creating a foyer type area and install an A/C with heater in this wall so you don't have to cut up the box

That would be great! But If I ever get budget approved to run power to these things I'm just going to cut a hole in the side, our shortest contracts are like 5 years, others are 30 years so these are semi-permanent.

Here is a shipping container/carport near me, closing it in would make a nice little workshop.

That's a hell of a roof! I take it you don't get much snow around there?

He's in Upper New York I believe and they get plenty of snow.

Steel beams and concrete. The place is literally a fortress. Sit down some evening and watch him build the place.

All his methods may not be the safest, but the dude isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and try something. He's got a serious "can-do" attitude.

Ah totally missed that this was off a youtube video, I'll have to check it out. I just made the snow comment because a slippery steel pitched roof without breaks or snow guards and a bunch of snow don't tend to get along well for anyone below;)

Other than a couple of his buddies, or Levi & Cody, there's not many around his place. Some of his steel shipments had issues getting up the hill in the snow, so bad that he drug some of the stuff up the hill behind his equipment.

Want to binge watch something, make a plan for the weekend, order some pizza and grab the popcorn.

Do containers really get lost like on that show that was on Discovery Channel. Those guys were bidding for them afterwards, and selling the stuff for a lot of money.

Well it depends on where but in some places yes. Like at the ports or at major hubs sure they get lost. Like when I worked at Home Depot. Palates would get lost all the time and there they are all nicely in set rows with set locations. But it happened all the time. Plus I was watch a show about the Long Beach port. They were saying it’s really easy for one or two to get lost regularly.

My sister has some property down south. As long as I can get the permits I’m going to be building a shipping container shop/tiny house combo out of like 4. Two 40ft and 2 20ft, but having the two 20 rotated 90 degrees and stacked out top. So I can have a huge roof deck covering for the decks down below and the shop would be 30 deep and 20 wide plus having a covers car port on the front side.

I bought a brand new 07 Honda Interceptor in 2011, apparently they misplaced a couple of containers full of bikes. My buddy who owns the dealership said he got 4 of them, told me they were going for 1/2 price, sold as new with warranty, still have it.
