shipping tire changer on its back, bad idea?

Im trying to get a tire machine shipped to me and one shipper is offering cheaper shipping but could only get it to me by laying the machine on its back. Does anyone know if this is a bad idea or if it will not matter? thanks, rick

There is a difference between a tire changer and a tire machine. One is a machine, the other is a minimum wage flunky. One could be shipped on back the other should be shipped sitting up, but usually its cheaper to throw that one away and just get another as they are disposable.
