I'm looking for casters for my classic 60, I work in maintenance and do a lot of rolling into elevator(uneven surface) that normally wrecks toolboxes. Nobody has had a snap on so Don't know how it will hold up. But was thinking about shock absorbing casters, probably the 8" ones on ebay right now. But from what i understand they need a few hundred pounds each to move the spring at all. My box is 350 empty, maybe 500 with tools but i could be low there. My question is could I put smaller springs on? could someone with the snap on casters give me an idea of wire diameter, diameter and length they are?
