So I finally got around to building a heavy shooting bench at my place, I wanted one that would last and would not wobble and it turned out pretty decent. The top is 5/1/2 inches x 45”x60.

Doesn't look very portable...

(joking)

Very nicely done! Dad and I have talked about doing something similar for years, just need to pull the trigger (pun intended) one of these days.

Like REWIND97, jealous.

I can but my yard is 30ft deep so groups won't impress anyone or build any skills and everyone will know your doing it! Life in the city! Someday!

BB guns (or airsoft) can actually be pretty useful for improving your shooting skills. It's a very inexpensive way to get in a lot of repetition while focusing on your technique. Being able to reliably thump a pop can from 10-20 yards with a Red Ryder while shooting off-hand is not as easy as it sounds.

Nice !
just like the others, I'm jealous.

Wish I could build one on my front lawn,
but It would probably be frowned upon on my culdesac in our tract home CA.community.

The air guns are lots of fun to shoot, the gun in the picture is a 25 Caliber FX Streamline precharged pellet gun, we were shooting it at 100 yards and with the 16 power scope we were able to watch the pellet drift around in the breeze.

Have one that is super silent, does a good job of taking care of the occasional pigeon "rat with wings" that wants to use my water feature as its personal watering hole.

I threatened to use my Ruger American rimfire bolt action .22 with my can on it to take care of them but clearer thinking took over. Its wicked quite, you can hear the firing pin hit the rear of the round.

I'm jealous. I have a pasture with a straight shot of about 400 yards with 10 acres of woods behind it. I have been talking about making a shooting range and building a shooting bench like yours. Hopefully one day I will get the chance. Great job.

I would like to have that distance to shoot. Thanks for the compliment.
