Will be giving one of these a try. Reviews seem good.

Calavera tool works
Thanks. That’s exactly what I have been working for. I tend to use an apron quite a bit waxing skis, working on mountian bikes, doing wood work or using my Bridgeport.

Do you find the tape measure clip / towel holders useful / convenient or do they tend to get in the way / catch on stuff?

Interested to see what other ones get posted. I have an Atlas 46 tool vest I use for framing or larger projects but it's too bulky for garage projects and have been thinking about an apron. Debated on one of the Atlas 46 aprons but not sure I want to spend that much on it...but dang that Calavera looks sweet

I've got a Duluth Trading apron, yet to even put it on. Almost embarrased considering the outrageous amount of pockets and expensive enough that I don't want to get it dirty. Funny enough a picked up a cheap smock for parts washing recently.

Anyone know of a sturdy RUBBER apron?

I have a couple of cheapies the kids wear that I'm teaching welding and cutting.

My real one is from Moonshine Leather, I use for blacksmithing, grinding , and cutting. Not cheap but I had it for over 5 years and money well invested. Their cross back straps are the best !

I have a waxed denim one I picked up a few years back, hardly use it because it is ridiculously stiff, I've tried washing/drying softeners without luck. this thing is stiff like cardboard.

I've got the Duluth cross-back style that I try to remember to wear when doing woodworking. Only problem I've found so far is that if I put my tape measure in one of the front pockets, I've got to struggle a bit to get it back out as there isn't a lot of slack in the top of the pocket.

Some of these leather ones ya'll are posting look pretty nice, too! Might need to look at an upgrade...

I used to wear denim ones at work before most companies started supplying uniforms [mould shops]. Then I switched to light weight [summer] coveralls for a while. I am a high temperature unit so undies and coveralls, same reason I wore the bib apron instead of shop/(lab) coats, I couldn't take the heat even people near me would ask me to move away as I was making them sweat! Old age has reduced that a bit, but I recently found I own a leather welding one that is going to work for welding I'm very fair skinned and have a family history of skin cancer so I've been ramping up the PPE sleeves and helmet bib for about 7+ years now. I even burn through my uniform shirts white patches a the button strip, and pockets. I do still wear the insulated coveralls in he winter as I'm becoming a wuss. I also sprung for a Lincoln leather welding jacket for home use. So yes I wear all of the above mentioned PPE. Those leather aprons: https://calaveratoolworks.com/collections/calavera-work-aprons would be awesome for real hot work [home forging/foundry] those aren't badly priced for that quality level. They just exceed my requirements. Harry

Just got one after using a wire cup wheel and spent way to much time picking little wire pieces stuck through my tee shirt. I find I'm using more and more.

I use the cheap denim harbor freight ones when machining. Dark sulphur cutting oil puts a stink into clothes that don’t come out. I use the apron until it gets a funky smell then throw it out and grab another.
