Ok I am new here so go easy on me. I have a 30x50 shop 10 foot walls. 3 10 foot wide 8 foot high doors one man door and no windows. I have my electric done and insulation and vapor going up as we speak. Its starting to get cold here in eastern washington.
I am looking for insulation for the garage doors and who make the best "DIY" kit? I am getting ready to order my propane tank. Will a 500 gallon tank be good or should I go bigger? I am also getting ready to order a heater MR HEATER or HOT DAWG and how big ? I would like any input from anyone that has one of these heaters will post pictures when I get back home thanks

For the doors in my garage (They were un-insoled alum doors) I used the vinyl backed fiberglass kits they sell at homdepot (bought off some Craigslist dood) then cut FRP to fit over the door sections, attached with caulk and white rivets.
Looks great, cleans up easy and keeps the garage at a pretty even temp.

I used fiberglass ceiling tiles... great insulation and cheap as dirt. They fit nicely between the panels and have been going strong for 15 years...

I'll have to take a pic of my heater later. I just got it hooked up yesterday. It's a 45,000 btu Hamilton heater hanging from the ceiling. My garage is 28x36 and so far, last evening it seems like it is going to do a pretty decent job. I did have a 75,000 btu house furnace in there before with a 120 gallon propane tank. Keeping it at around 55-60 in the winter the propane would last almost two months. But I would warm it up to 70 plus when I was out there in the evenings and weekends.
I don't know how your code dictates where you live but anything over 120 gallons on a propane tank has to be something like 20 feet from a dwelling. A 120 gallon can be set right next to the dwelling.

One of my friends here in Central/Eastern Wa pulled his propane heat out of his house a couple of years ago because it got too expensive to use.

It's a big house and the heating setup wasn't the most efficient but it was running him quite a bit a month to heat that house.
I've got a monster of a forced air oil furnace that I was going to stick in my garage but have decided not to use it right now.
