Made outnof recycled wrecker boom, built it three years ago. Just got a valve body update and a extension welded into top to bottom loft a beam at 20’ with no overhead clearence

If using it at lower heights foot can be set on ground and used to lift a lot with boom/winch/extension

Have to be smart about using it is key, and a larger machine better!AF6D3881-F8E1-4676-86B6-2091B9C4DD52.jpeg78E83E78-DF41-483E-A819-DE143B665263.jpeg7FAA3A13-93CF-49C0-BCB4-F88251A05F6A.jpeg6F60DC8C-F793-431F-9D3B-3004E91A1A47.jpeg7D0356B3-3218-49D4-88F8-66A660C0D797.jpeg

I'm quite jealous !! I purchased a jib boom made for a forklift and goobered a 1/2" quick attach plate onto it so it can be used by the skiddy or forklift. Having the winch and other hydraulic goodies on it would be amazing.

Nicely done !!

Nice job and thanks for sharing.

How much tension can those handles on the boom take?
Are the chains there just to keep the thing from creeping down when parked, or are they in tension when using the crane?
