Stumbled across a Hover central vac unit on Craigs List the other night. New...scratch and dent (one small ding) picked it up for 65 bucks.

Plan to mount it and add a Dust Deputy cyclone on a secondary cannister and vent the outlet outside.

Simple surface mount line and a couple outlets in the shop.

Main driver is to gain some floor space the MONSTER shop vac takes up.

Anyone done a project like this? Any suggestion...do's...don't's?

Plan to pick up a central vac hose and add a toggle switch to the end to turn the unit on and off with the low voltage relay built into the vac.

I did and it works great but my hose has power switch so no need to wire a toggle.
