I wanted to share a build that my Dad and I did. Living 1200 miles apart (me:Chicago/Dad:Tampa) makes it some what difficult to do projects but he decided to fly up here just to work in the garage. Un-knowingly I had a project in mind. I wanted a table that would last my life time and then some. I decided on using 1/2 hardened steel for the work surface, 1/2 carbon plate for the shelf, 4x4 3/16" wall square tube for the legs, again 1/2 carbon plate for the feet, and to finish it off nicely I used 2x2 1/4" angle for the borders. If any one has any questions feel free to ask. And here it is from beginning to end...
