Too bad you are in Texas! The company I work for sells tons of used fans. Just had a sale, big, industrial shop fans! Darn.

If you can find a used "whole house exhaust fan" that would be the ticket. I found mine in a scrap dumpster. Replaced the motor bearings, bought a belt, built the housing & guarding. In all, I have 40$ ******* in it. Moves a lot of air, but very quiet.

1st picture is the fan when I got it working. 2nd picture is the finished product.

I had several large pedestal fans for the shop. Then each tech had a personal fan. Seemed to do the job. Office had ac and techs were invited to come and take a break if feeling stressed. We also had several roof
coolers but they didn't really help much.

Hit up your local a/c guy for a household blower from a changeout. Mount it on wheels and add a switch and wire box and simply point where you need the air. Used to have a couple in my shop.

+1 on this. These fans usually are multi speed which is really nice. I find them quieter than most box or pedestal fans.
