New concrete is poured and I was considering VCT but now I've talked myself out of it. I've decided to just seal it and get on with my life. My question now is, after sealing with Ghost Shield 8505c can I then put down some acrylic "wax" to get a nice gloss?

8505C is a clear sealer. Have you already applied it? TLPPC can give you the same resistance to automotive fluids plus some sheen?

These type of products are invisible. That is where the "ghost" comes in.
If you want a sheen go for a StainGuard vs. a penetrating invisible sealer.

A StainGuard is designed to stop the stains and give you the sheen you are after.

Here is our example: http://www.legacyindustrial.net/hd40-concrete-stain-guard-product-video.html

What prep would be needed with this? Im building a new house/garage right now and would be good with just an industrial look floor in the shop...

thanks

I haven't ordered it yet because the concrete is only 4 days old.

Then based on what you are looking for it might not be your best choice. I would consider 3 coats of TrueLock PPC. It only takes one coat to seal the floor the second and third coats build luster to gloss depending on the concrete porosity.

Chemical resistant, stain resistant, no real prep and the perfect hybrid between a sealer and urethane

Our clear SPGX would work great for this, around 30 cents per sq ft.
