Just started insulating my 30x40 pole barn, using 2 inch extruded foam may not be the best but i have already started. my budget ran out and doing a little at a time. Just wondering any thoughts on this product?

I did about 1/3 of my 24x32x10 with 2x6 and R19 faced rolls. Did 2 more sections with 2x4s and R19 batts and saved about 50 bucks!

Installing Roxul in my shop. I've been getting a load every time Lowes has a 20% off deal.

It will be a while before I finish and heat it, so the anti mold/mildew feature is of value. Also good sound resistance, which should help not tick-off the neighbours.

I insulated my whole 30x48 with 3" foam sheets. I bought mine off craigslist and spent about 1/2 the money the fiberglass was going to cost. Pics are in my build thread. It's not much for sound deadening so keep your temper tantrums to a minimum if you think somebody will hear you. You can just keep at it and go back and add a second layer........you'll need it if you plan on heating without costing a fortune. If you want to save some cash search craigslist for "sheet foam" or "polyiso".
