I want to put a sink/range/dishwasher in the corner of my shop. I have a sewage pump in the corner also I want to hide below it. The problem is, I need about 30” deep counter tops to hide it. Any ideas that won’t break the bank? Home Depot has in stock counter tops that aren’t priced bad but they’re 24” deep. It would be an L shaped counter top 10’ x 4’ approximately.

Build an elevated 6 inch "curb" around the back of the cabinets and then have the countertops but into that. (Instead of a wall.) You can cover the curbs in whatever you want and use the elevated area for stocking things. You won't be able to reach to the back of a 30" countertop anyway.

anyone that makes self edge countertops can fix you up easy peasy .
infact they are very easy to make yourself ( assuming you have a router, belt sander & basic carpentry skills) . you could make it with no seams from a 5x12 or 5x10 ( if available) sheet

I got these 39”x72” island counters from the Depot, cut to 36” depth. They have other sizes listed.
These particular counters are acacia with teak oil.

Building your own custom laminate counter is surprisingly easy if you need to go around a corner.

I will be doing HD butchet block tops for the shop sink. They are very reasonably priced.
I only looked at normal 24 inch and didnt know they came wider too.
Even if you could only source 24s it would be easy to buy two or buy longer , do a cutoff and glue and clamp the pieces to make it wider.
