Shop lights suggestion

My vintage metal building has 6 old florescent light fixtures. Late 1950's or early 60's.
All but two still work. The two bad ones needs ballasts.

I am planning on keeping these fixtures and installing the 8 foot single pole led's and doing away with the ballasts. They are all wired in metal conduit and I want to keep them that way.

With what I have found you don't have to replace the Tombstones . I will just remove ballasts and rewire with hot and neutral . I may just use one bulb , have not decided yet.

There is nothing written on my bulbs telling me the watts but I assume I need at least 75 watts.

What ya think on the choice I made ? Or maybe someone has a better idea. I am not going to do all these at one time so probably will not order in bulk. If that is possible ?

I converted a bunch of them 8' to 4 4' linear led lights on the cheap from eBay supllier. 5$ a bulb and ditched the ballasts..very bright. 19 watt per bulb.

Buying in bulk will save you some in shipping. All the bulbs I could find locally were ballast replacements which I wasn’t interested in.

Got them all converted. Removed shields, sanded them, primed and painted. Looks like 1961 all over again except much brighter.

I went with the Barrina T8 T10 T12 LED Light Tube, 8ft, 44W (100W equivalent), 6500K, 4500 Lumens, Frosted Cover, Dual-Ended Power, Fluorescent Light Bulbs Replacement and couldn't be happier .

Bought some for a friend but different brand. I got his tombstones which I needed and he didn't so lucky me. Bought a roll of 14 gauge solid wire and out with the old wires and in with the new.

I ordered four and two came damaged from shipping. Seller sent me a box of 12 for free. Said they were returns but there was nothing wrong with them. They just said they couldn't sell them for new and wanted to send them to me for free. All 12 worked like a charm.

First picture is where I removed the 60 year old 50,000 BTU heater and put one of my lights where it was located.

This is about the best I can do as far as getting a close up. These things are 16 feet in the air
Bright is the word and looks like original lights unless you look close at the tubes
