I wish I had a picture, we used an old barstool frame on wheels and built a 5 gallon bucket frame for it.

Total investment maybe 10$?

Just empty the bucket into the old oil containers between dump trips.

If you're handy you can turn an old vertical air compressor tank into an oil drain tank. Often you can find air compressors for sale on CL with a burned out motor or compressor for cheap with the handle and wheels still attached. Depending on the tank design you can remove the tank bushing on top and fit a decent sized funnel or pipe into it, and then remove the bushing on the bottom and fit a 1/2" ball valve into it for draining the oil.

I'm after an oil drain tank for my shop but don't want to buy junk, I also don't want to blow the budget.

They seem to start around ~100 all the way up to 1k.

Something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-Gallon-W...ate-Drainer-Portable-Wheel-Hose-/191831822629

What have you got and how do you like it?
We just got one of these at the shop seems to works well so far. We had some more expensive ones only lasted a couple of years before the check valves went bad and casters constantly falling off.
