I just kept looking on eBay for an old payphone. Rotary ones are pricey, but every now and then you can run across a good deal. It does not need coins to work, but I don't tell anyone!
In the shop, have a phone for emergency outgoing calls. Just turn off the ringer, and you won't be disturbed. I prefer those garage sales corded ones, but still have one wireless to take around if I think I am going to be out of range. With my work schedule and how far I live from most of my friends, I have to do everything myself.
