Shop Project - Workbench

Did a little project between Thanksgiving and Christmas...
Insulated the two outer walls of the shop using the old roof sheeting that was replaced when a storm tore off the roof a few years ago...
(Never throw stuff away...)
Anyways... Snagged up a deal on pallet racking...
Shortend them, and narrowed them up...
Made up a steel covering and put them together...

Wired up lights for each section and installed an quad outlet box for each section...

Built some shelves out of 2x4's (overkill...but I had them)

I need this exact workbench. I'm getting two 4x10 sheets of counter top bent. I just need the racking.

Great idea, I also did the racking thing, bought the racking at a store who was closing.
real cheap, on the work bench area, I added a 36 X 8 ft quarter inch thick steel plate
This thing is solid.
Covered it up and added doors after to get the look a bit less industrial.

Wow, these both look great. Looking clustered is a problem psychology for working and making progress. I sometimes get distracted and most time seems to be spent looking for stuff. I love the bench and the covered shelves!
