I have so much stuff, most of it small tools / parts that organization is a big issue. Tried many different solutions over the years this is the latest incarnation.

I have two types now - one made of wood for small plastic shoeboxes (walmart etc has these for about a dollar each) - and latest is an all metal cabinet I started on - these I am going to mount above the wood ones for extra storage.

Still have faceframes to add to the wood cabinets and sides and shelving (wood) to the metal ones.

More fotos.

The expanded metal sheet runs about $80 a sheet and can be cut with a small jigsaw with a metal blade - altho lately I've been using the plasma cutter.

The rods for the dividers are 1/2 inch pvc + 3/8 rebar.

Also highly recommend Fireball tools welding squares - they make setting the welding part up squarely a much easier process for me - they're a small outfit of Spokane - you can see them on youtube - guy has some vids of how the squares work.

Not a plug - just a customer of some interesting tools. He had some awesome vids before but seems like a lot of them disappeared for some reason.

So finished up a bunch of these cabinets and installed them today - have 2 more wood ones to assemble (and a few more to build) - and got 5 of the metal ones done and one to fix and put up then my storage has become far more neat, organized and expanded.

Big plus, my welding improved at least 100 percent since doing these. Stacks of dimes much more common and consistent now.
