What ideas to protect your TV screen from damage due to dust, etc... I have a wood shop and that makes it even worse I believe. I have air cleaners but the TV still looks like a big dust bunny from hell after a short while. Trying to stay away from building a big cabinet and taking up valuable space but I may have no choice as I want to keep dust from getting in side the TV as much as the screen.

Thanks

Mine gets dusty . I blow it out from time to time and also have it mounted off to the side out of the work zone higher on the wall .

Same here. Ido not have a flat screen, just a hand me down CRT. Just have to blow it off, once in a while. If I'm painting a car (no I don't have a booth.) I drape painters plastic over it, then try to seal it with tape.

Near the TV mount afan to blow toward t he TV. Put a furnace filter on the input to the fan, or duct the air from a clean area of the shop, or from outside. Could you direct the air flow from the cleaner acros the TV? The air flow should keep the dust away from the TV.

Ever thought of covering the tv with some plexi glass? Just velcro it to the front and remove to clean, very easy. It will also protect the tv from paint, grinding/welder spatter and all sorts of flying objects :D

I guess i just don't get it. I go to the garage to escape the rest of the world adding a TV would just bring it in. Plus it just seems more of a distraction. :dunno:
