Hiya-

The front of my shop vac had a screw cap that covers a hole to drain it. They sell a garden hose adapter for $10 but it's oos and a week to ship. I know the drains are usually different sizes per manufacturer, so It won't fit another.

Any DIY pcv /clamp/ hole saw fixes to run garden hose (any hose?) from it?

Yes the home depot $10 is a week away. I was hoping for a quick diy adapter with a repurposed PVC fitting or adapter for something else. Needed it right away. I saw the electric one before, it's nice but I just need a manual way.

Thanks for the Amazon link, if it doesn't fit the Ridgid, I bet it fits the others. You know it would cost 'em a buck to add a threaded plug to the cap.

With the 25ft hose, water pump, Custom base, muffler, I'm going to have to find some Edelbrock stickers for it- my shop vac's more tricked out than my Corvette..... :)
