Shops with both vinyl and metal siding?

Still planning my shop build. It will be up near our house in our yard. Our house is all traditionally sided. Just because of cost, the shop will have a metal roof for sure. Also considering putting house style siding on the bottom 4-5 feet of the shop, then metal siding for the rest. Also considering using cedar shingles up in the eves. This is all to help it blend in a bit.

Would any of you have some pictures, or examples of what I am thinking of? I am trying to get an idea what it would look like.

Any other suggestions?

I plan on installing vinyl siding on top of the metal siding on my garage on two sides some day. I don't see any issues other than at the edges where I'll have to custom make something to make that look good.
