I'm looking for a short drill bit set.

Mac has this one: link, pic below, but at $129 it's a little spendy for a non-pro.

Other suggestions???

Norseman make nice stub length sets. Look into those. USA made.

menards has some in a nice case. limited sizes but they have a hex shank, they work well and can be bought individually. i have a set that has seen limited use. around 20 bucks.

I don't know what to make of Drill Hog. I have their Letter set which seems top notch, and their Silver&Demming which are kind of rough. They're marketed as USA made but not marked as such and have very little internet presence short of eBay and a YouTube review. But hey, lifetime warranty is always cool. I also have Norseman in mechanics and stub length and you certainly can't go wrong with them if you can handle the cost.
