Short run of 1/2” gas supply line to gas cooktop

I’m running a gas line to my cooktop. Space is a little tight and I’d like to run 1/2” gas pipe about 4’ to the cooktop. I’d be reducing from 3/4” gas pipe to 1/2” for 4’.

The specs allow for 1/2” pipe. Just wanted to know if that’s going to cause any issues with the burners.

Yep, dropping to 1/2" for the last few feet is fine. 42,000 BTU will be fine with a 4' 1/2" gas flex on the end of that too.
