All my torque wrenches are medium to long. It would be nice to have a regular ratchet length torque wrench to get into those places the longer ones won't.

What recommendations do you all have?

Inch pound torque wrenches can be had, usually 50-250in-lb or so, (roughly 4 to 20 ftlb). If in 3/8 drive, they're usually a 3/8 drive in 1/4 style ratchet set up. still about 12" OAL.

Ice needed a very short one for work at some point an this one ticked the box
Good recommendation.
It can be confusing sorting through their many models, but they make good stuff.
I have their metric 100-500 kgf-cm wrench. It is adjustable but has to be done with a hex key, which can be a blessing or a curse.
The model garfieldzzz mentioned has the adjustment knob.
The ratchet mechanism is only 24t but has a Koken-like action.

Thanks folks. The Eclatorq rebrands looks like they might fit the bill.

I was also able to find the KTC that looks similar that goes to 60nm.

Torque adapter, such as:

When I try to torque the oil drain bolt on my Honda Accord (on jack stands), a regular torque wrench would touch the ground. A flex head torque wrench (such as Snap On 3/8" techangle) barely works. A torque adapter works perfectly with a regular length ratchet.

I think they intentionally make torque wrenches long, to give the user better control for better accuracy.

I have an old Tohnichi torque wrench and I agree about the ratchet action. It’s so nice I wondered whether Koken supplied the heads for them.
