Shot Blasting Rental Rate $400 / Day

I am getting ready to epoxy my floor. I started to find rental companies for a diamond grinder or a shot blaster. Sunbelt Rentals is by me and they want $400 / day for a shot blaster, but $60 /day for a grinder. Am I missing something on the huge price difference.

I have a normal sized 2 car garage. The floor isn't that bad, I just want to do it right. I think HD has a grinder and I have found a few places with the edco grinder.

That's about the going rate for a shotblaster here, too. The blaster is more maintenance-intensive than the grinder, therefore more expensive to own and operate.

Thanks. Seems to blow the budget going that route. looks like the grinder is going to have to do.
