$650 + $32.95 for 50 lbs shot. This is for a one day rental. That sounds expensive! I'm doing 2,000 sq feet. As I stated in another post I'm considering Epoxy-Coat. I could acid etch for less. Any thoughts?

One garage is 14 years old ... the other is fairly new.

Cost for the Epoxy-Coat is about $1,200 incl. shipping. Total cost for both garages comes to under $1,900 using this method. I suspect acid etching would be be less than $100.

Is the shot blasting worth the $$$?

:)

I tried to find a shot blaster in central Florida but had no luck. Nations Rent could get me one from Houston, TX if I helped cover the freight to Florida!:wtf: Lowes or Home Depot didn't have any, nor did any other mom and pop rental places.
I got one company to quote me $2/sqft. $1700 for my 850 sqft garage.:shocking: I figure I'm doing acid etch now. Sure wish I could have got it shot blasted instead.

I was told by Nations Rent that someone had killed themselves with one in Colorado and that only one company rents them - Parts R Parts.
