Today my rebuilt SO gun came back to me, so halfway through the morning was the end of the test. The HF Earthquake, redesigned version, held up every single day between my use and whoever I let use it. Never had one issue, put on tons of wheels with it, none ever came off, still breaks any bolt I need it too. Test passed. The Earthquake makes a good cheap back-up gun.
I picked up the old earthquake a couple of years ago just on the raves around here. I only use it occationally but man does it kick ****!! I'm trying to figure out what to do with my unused crapsman gun.
hey SPAWNED X, glad to hear you did a good heads up test, thanks from alot of us. like you said "$ wise it's a good back up gun". from an old - old retired DIY type that trys to keep busy it's good to hear from someone else that watches the bottom line when it comes to the cost of tools. i think of tools as an investment and don't see buying a high $ tool just to have a name brand tool, use them all the time i can and beat them up in everyday use (i buy lower cost tools at first to see how much it's used, if used alot and needed then the better grade of tool). your test was great to here about and to the input THANKS AGAIN !!!
I also want to say thanks, a great write up and a professional setting, if the other guys keep loading the hours on your earthquake gun please keep this thread and us up to date, thanks again.
