Hello everyone I have an issue I could use advice on. I have a 40 x 60 metal building that is insulated with the white vinyl backed insulation .I think its an r3 value. I added a wooden wall with r15 to divide and put an ac unit. Its about 40 x 20. I will be putting plywood walls on the interior . Should I add insulation to the exterior walls? I assume I should so the ac can do its job. If so how much or what kind? I'm thinking the regular r15 for 2x4 walls but they do have the r19 for 2x6 walls. I did put a metal ceiling and will probably blow insulation there. I guess why we are on the subject , what type of ac would you guys recommend? I'm in south Louisiana, hot and humid as hell! I have been looking at mini splits ,wall units and central units. It will be used as an outdoor kitchen/workout room. Thanks for any advice and input and just ask if I left something out.
