Should I be upset or thankful?

I ordered 11 double open end Bonney wrenches. They were kind of old school look with a V in it. I like the feel of the old wrenches. The wrenches were used and worn based on the description. The sizes for the Bonney wrenches were....6x7, 8x9,10x11,12x13, 14x15, 16x18, 17x19, 20x22, 21x24, 25x27, 30x32

What I recieved is a brand new set of 11 double open K-D wrenches. They are a much newer design, fully chromed. The sizes are 6X7 8X10 11X13 12X14 14X15 16X18 17X19 19X22 21X24 27X30 30X32.

What I am worried about is the sizes in the K-D set double a few times. The KD set is missing the sizes 9mm, 20mm, and 25mm that the Bonney set has. I dont use metric very often. Are 9, 20, and 25 used very often?

If I don't get what I order, I return it. I didn't ask for a substitute product, why should I pay for it. If you ask me the person who sold it to you has some pretty big b**ls. You would think they would have contacted you and asked about substitutions before shipping what they felt was an equal product.

If I ordered the cool old Bonney V's and got the KD, they would go back the same day.

I think I would rather have the Bonney's as well, even if they are an older style. I'll be calling to see if he has the Bonney ones available. Either way.....cant go wrong for $30.00.

If its not what you ordered and it makes a difference then don't keep it.

I"m guessing it was Ebay. There are several completed and underway auctions for 11 piece sets that list Bonney, K-D, S-K,Snap-on 5120-01-115-1148 Double Open End Metric Wrench Set 11pc showing pics of what appear to be Bonney wrenches. The text and picture are a bit misleading With the NSN listing, it is likely govt surplus. If he doesn't like it, all he has to do is file a "not as described" claim with Ebay and they'll refund his full payment, including shipping. $30 aint bad for what he got though but I'd bit a bit peeved since it wasn't what he thought he was buying.

I use 9mm all the time, watercooled VWs and others, but 20 and 25 I've never used.

I'd rather have what you ordered as well. I just fell victim to an Ebay switch myself, I got what was in the description, just a much more beat up version from the picture they used.

It was Ebay. I was worried about the listing since he listed four different manufacturers but I have seen sellers do that before as a way to get more 'hits' off their titles.

some euro cars have 9 mm, gm fuel filters are 20 mm, 25 mm is pretty close to 1 inch so missing those sizes is not a big deal.

Back they'd go.

It's not just about the functionality, ya know; some people collect certain brands!

I would also send them back because they are not what I was lead to believe they would be and I also like the sizes that do not skip (My OCD issues) However Before I make any judgements about the seller trying to scam me I would check to be sure it was not a mistake.

I have been known to mix up shipping lables and boxes in the past. My kids will tell you that I more than once sent 1 kids care package to another kids university. My daughter could usually make use of my sons stuff but there was no way my son needed her stuff. (if you know what I mean)

If this is true, I take back my comment. If the ad says you're getting from 4 different brands, you take the brand you get. However, if the skipping of sizes isn't mentioned, that is a legitimate concern and cause for return all by itself. I hate skipped sizes with a passion.

Ford uses the occasional 9mm on interior (sockets there) and battery cables
Gm uses 20mm on the fuel filters
25mm gets used a lot on suspension components, but if you are not setting alignments I would not be worried about it.

If you are happy about them, keep them. If not send em back

Recieved my answer today. The seller does not have any of the Bonney wrenches as shown in the description. He offered me a partial refund of $15 to keep the K-D wrenches or a full refund to return the K-D's. $15 for 11 K-D wrenches isnt so bad so I took the partial refund. Ebay buyers beware of try c2's store.... http://stores.ebay.com/TryC2?_trksid=p2047675.l2568 ....great costumer service but horrible selling descriptions. Wish I would have read his precious feedbacks.
