funny you mention "shiny tools" most, ok all my tools are at least 12 years old, when i get a shny new replacement, it looks out of place, kinda like a redheaded stepchild, next to my well worn tools.......

Nice haul. Last weekend I got a few goodies from an older couple leaving the country. They had house, a mazda, mustang + all their stuff for sale. The mom and daugther (8/10) running the garage sale didn't know anything about tools. So, they ended up asking me about them.

Why do people feel bad about paying the price someone asks? I mean if someones selling something cheap by all means go and get it! Now if you told the person oh those tools aren't worth anything I'll give ya a five spot for it... thats a different story.
