Absolutely! It's way cool. Remember to drip some oil down the bearing oiler holes before you run it.

Id say no. Can get a different set up that takes up a lot less space. With no belt to whiplash you when it breaks, and guards for when the wheels shatter.

Hell yes! Put buffing wheels on it since it has no guards.

Do it! Would make a great buffer. When I recently got a replacement motor for my drill press, the guy who gave it to me threw in a similar grinder. I am just trying to find the time to mount it.

And to the people that are concerned about wheel breaking, or other safety issues; I would bet it is designed to be a low speed grinder, and I would also bet the motor attached is rated around 1000 RPM or less (which is a helluva a lot less than your typical bench grinder).
