That's not much $$. Keep them. If you sell them, you'll be kicking yourself for it in a few years. Of course, if you do sell them, sell some to me :)

Thanks everyone for you input. It has given me different points of view to consider. For the time being I have decided to keep the tools.... until next time I am tempted :)

Go ahead, sell them. And one day you will tell yourself "WTF was I thinking??" Misery loves company.
Not tools, but a few things I have sold over the years that I just cannot justify now since they are 5X as expensive now or no longer made.

This is how it will be if you sell

Also I'll keep the crapsman as well. I've learned they are some of the most important tools in my garage.... when someone comes over looking to borrow a tool I point them to the crapsman box - definitely not the box housing the snap on tools!

LOL! I show them the HF website. We use to have “decoy” tools at work. One was an old Craftsman variable speed jig saw to keep others away from our Bosch. When we moved it was getting tossed out. I took it home and swapped the blade out with a micro Irwin clamp and use it to shake up my model paints.

If I understand it these were purchased used and likely you are selling at a wash. It sounds like you could probably replace the tools for what you have in them plus the effort of window shopping. I get it. I had a Fluke 87-5 meter. Though careful ebay work I got it for a great price. In the end I couldn't justify owning it plus a second high end meter. So I sold it. Kind of hated to since I know it's own of the best meters money can buy. However, I didn't need it and the $250 I got for it was more than I paid so it went. You can always replace them later if you think you want Snapon again. In the mean time you have cash. Personally I do a lot of wrenching with stuff that costs a lot less.
