My house was built in the mid 60's. Thankfully there's almost no paneling inside the house anymore. Just some wainscoting down the hallway, the back wall of built in cabinet, and one wall in the dining room that doesn't really need to be changed.
However in my garage, I have paneling and crown moulding for some reason. Ignore the tool chests, I don't have the top boxes anymore in fact I think the photo was from when I sold them.
There isn't anything specifically wrong with the paneling. Some parts of it are a lot cleaner than others, nail holes stains etc but really for a garage its fine. I just don't really like it, but replacing it costs more than leaving it there. Basically, help me weigh the pros and cons.
