Should I stamp my "driveway"

"Driveway" is in quotations because it is just a 18'x18' area in front of the 16'-wide garage door on our detached garage.

I was planning on plain concrete with two saw cuts making four 9'x9' areas.

Now I'm wondering if I should dress it up and stamp it. It's 90' away from the house and I only expect to use it as a bit of a landing area/ light work area/ and potentially a basketball court.

Should I bother stamping it?

There will be two, 3'-wide paver tracks leading up to this area form the main asphalt driveway.

Thanks!

If use as a basketball court is in the cards, don't stamp it. Otherwise, it's all about what appearance you want. The saw cuts are a good idea either way.

Don't stamp, it's a ***** if you want to do any kind of automotive work. Wheels always get hung up. Based on you location you'll get snow, it took me a while to get used to skimming above the ground just to shovel snow.

I have a stamped driveway (not by choice) and I wouldn't recommend it for basketball, working on cars, or walking on in the winter. The indents make shoveling snow difficult, and creates treacherous little skating rinks.
