I started buying from this driver in November. Picked up a few ratchets and odds and ends off his truck. I made payment that were at least double what the agreed payment was and had my account played by mid December.

In late november I ordered a carbor scraper.
Mid december I ordered a set of deep offset sae wrenches and sae tap and die set
The last time I've seen him I ordered a 3/4 impact and a specialty deep well socket and played my account $350 in advance, that was 2 weeks ago.
Still waiting on all of it

I work out of my service truck 60 miles from our shop. I have to meet this SO driver In a small local town when he's at a small mechanics shop. The next nearest Driver is 60 miles away.
I know the drivers is going through times, has had ordering problems, and I would like to support him. But when is it time to move on.

60 miles? That is far from convenient. If you can pay full price up front, I think you would be much happier ordering from snapon.com Its nice that you want to support your driver, but 60 miles is just crazy.

I would not change until you either get a refund or your tools.I personally would not have pre-paid for any of it.

You could try buying from SO website...will get your order quicker.

If he is having problems ordering tools, he may very well make the decision for you. Hopefully he won't go under and I certainly wouldn't be prepaying for anymore tools.

I'm assuming you prefer to buy from a driver rather then on line for warranty reasons but doing business through the mail may be your best bet.

Good luck!

If you don't like your driver, snapon.com has a great online ordering system. Free shipping, and fast too.
