This week I put on a coat of Ghostshield 4500 . I diluted it at 4:1 as recommended here and applied a single coat of this intensifier with a backpack sprayer and I smoothed it out with an 18 inch flat microfiber floor mop to avoid any puddling. I used a little less than 4 gallons on a 2100 square foot power troweled concrete floor.
I am hoping to put on two coats of Ghostshield 8510 on Monday. I will use the backpack sprayer again but I think that an 18 inch roller will work better than the flat mop as I will be putting on two coats of 8510. I worry that the mop will drag the first coat away.
Is a roller a better way to even out the two coats versus the micro fiber mop ? What have others used ?
