If you look at the catalogue page linked from the above link you will see that the page says 5-15 hp pumps but on closer look it has different specs for each hp pump. I don't think that you want to run a 5z405 with a 5hp motor. You would have to turn it to slow causing oil problems or have the pressure limit set way low.

Should you? How much is it going to cost you for the compressor? How much to fix it? Is it worth the risk if it ends up costing hundreds to fix? Can you find a bigger motor to run it for a decent price?

If you can pick it up for cheap and stick a few bucks into it then it would be worth it.
