So theres a ton of various organization/storage ideas from pliers to screwdrivers to bolts... Now im curious how everyones stocking their materials and usable scraps!!!
I store all of my scrap pieces of wood in a round 55 gal trash can next to my bandsaw. If I were to do it over, I'd go with a square can because 99% of my scraps aren't round. Long boards get stored in the rafters above my shop and sheet goods lean up against the wall in the garage.
I built this a few years ago. It uses heavy duty shelf brackets on the front for adjustability. Footprint is 4x8 feet and holds sheet goods on the back side.
I have racks similar to mikec and amcguy, its 1/4"x3" flat stock that is bolted to the wall, with 2"x2"x1/4" angle iron welded to it, with 2"x1/8" flat welded to the angle so stuff dont roll off. They are about 6-7' tall.....work great
