Well everyone and there mom has threads similar to this so let me see your Grey Pneumatic sockets! I love this brand and bought full sets of 1/4 and 3/8 drive, 1/2 is on the list to buy next. As you can see i have the 1/4 set in the original box and i put the 3/8 sets on Snap On rails, Which i love!

I will try and get some pics of mine if I remember at work tomorrow. I have full sets of 3/8 and 1/2" drive, metric and standard, shallow and deep impacts.

Can you please post a picture of the inside hex of the 1/4" drive sockets? They say the 1/4" drive sockets are "surface drive" and none of the others are listed as such. Can you see a difference in them vs. the 3/8" drive sockets? I am wanting to pic up the 1/4" sets but I am nervous about the surface drive feature.

Thanks for the pics! How do you feel about the surface drive on the 1/4" sockets? Can you even tell a difference when using them?

I will get some pics of mine tomorrow. I have the 71 piece 1/4" master set, 3/8" standard deep and shallow 12 pt and deep and shallow 6pt swivel set. 3/8" metric deep and shallow 12pt. 1/2" shallow metric and standard swivel set. 1/2" metric allen set.

They have been good sockets. They are my back up sets so they dont get used alot. I would not recommend the 12pt versions as the teeth wear out quick. I really want a set of the 3/8" master duo socket set for the house.

The bits are nice, unfortunately the tray is cheesy. It's the only tray I intend to keep out of all the tools I have that came with molded plastic cases, which have all been discarded.

I do not use them every day. Most of this stuff is less than a year old. I am an engineer that does some mechanical work in an industrial environment. We have to supply our own tools at this place. I figured I can finally step up since it'll be a tax write off (hopefully).

Edit: I'm also am a maintenance freak. Others call it ocd.

I kept mine in the original blue case for a while, But eventually started to want to take whole sets to where i was working and also the 3/8 case was pretty big. Look at my thread 17 year olds set of tools, to see my socket drawer before i bought the 1/4 drive set.

Yepp i figured it didnt look like a pros box but was still professional tools.. Youll love those sockets when you start using em heavy.
