Some other stuff. I have been buying old gas & oil stuff for quite awhile, some of which was displayed in my shop at my NH home. When we moved to Tennessee we bought a house with no garage so all my "stuff" is presently stored in the cellar. As soon as my new garage gets built it will be put on display out there. Always looking for other interesting goodies to ad to the collection. I get a chuckle out of some of them like the AC spark plug display that says they need to be replaced every 10k miles or Kendall being proud of the fact that their oil lasts 2k miles...

More.. Anyone else collect the old tire advertising ashtrays ? I am also starting to collect oil cans and the small "handy oil" and lighter fluid cans if they are from a gas or oil company.

I've got a bunch - but this one is in my shop....
Very cool old signs. The seat has me guessing. Early Camaro or Firebird for sure. 67 or 68 Firebird ? I'm thinking since every 69 seat I've seen from either manufacturer has a seperate headrest. I know it's not a 67 or 8 Camaro seat. Odd because it looks like the pattern used in 69. I'm going out on a limb and guessing it's a 69 seat with the headrest removed. My 67 Camaro has been upgraded with power buckets from a 97 Firebird.

Good call NH. It's a '68 Firebird (convertible) - not to hijack, but some more pics of that build here. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3020170/1968-pontiac-firebird/

Good call NH.... Here's a pic of the '68 Firebird. A rotisserie build that my son and I finished a couple of years ago.

I am waiting for my BedPak HD-7W (RevisionM) 4 Post Lift Lift to arrive in the next few weeks. Painted the Garage Floor (Epoxy), getting 2 High Lift Garage Doors, Bought a Craftsman 3 high Tool Drawer (5 1/2 feet tall), a Shop Vac (Stainless Steel.. Ohhhhh), and will soon get an Air Compressor for my lift and for running an Air Rachet.

I have my $40 Corvette C5 Flag that I had since 2002. Once my Garage gets finished it is going to look awesome and I want to get some cool metal signs (or other cool things) to hang on the wall.

Any suggestions on websites or places to get some. I want NEW signs. An old sign has character, but I don't have money to go find relics that will cost a fortune.

Just looking for some stuf to hang on the wall so I can look like a Big Shot like all you guys when my garage door opens up.........

I can't wait to get everything in. been a LONG journey and a lot of work getting everything figured out. 220 Volt Power, lining up installers, 3800 garage door openers, high lift parts, air compressors, just everything. Everytime I turn around my bank account gets drained for something I need.

Thanks and love the signs guys.

Really like your Texaco gear, I worked as a "helper" at a Texaco station as a kid, I guess that leaves its marks. :)

Picked up some nice ones recently... I figure someone has to preserve the "Pontiac" name. The Mobil horses are cookie cutter designs... A pain to mount, but the 3D effect is cool

Need to rearrange and clean up my garage but these are a couple of my older signs. I really like the spark plug cabinet

JJDeuce...what's the deal with the Coke sign? That is the only one I have ever seen like that. Was the Coca-Cola wording and the bottle repainted on a faded out sign?

Nope. I bought it brand new and bright red at a Cracker Barrel about 10-12 years ago. I had it on the outside of a detached garage for a couple if years and it just faded like that.

Is the Coca-Cola and the bottle painted or is it a decal? I would think that both would fade the same. In a little podunk town a few minutes from me, people had a huge Coke sign hanging up on the side of their house, which used to be a little store. The Coke and the bottle faded off but the red was left. They had it repainted. I was thinking it may have been an original sign though.

I agree the Big Daddy sign is very cool. I met him a few years back at New England Dragway in NH at the Super Chevy show and got his autographed book.

I'm not sure if it's painted or not. I'll have to look at it more closely tonight.

I also have this old coke cooler in the backyard:

the red hasn't faded too badly, thought it's definitely thinner in some spots.

Well since old Coke coolers & such have been added to the mix here's some stuff I picked up cheap just to tinker with. The Coke cooler has been gutted out completely by the previous owner. He was making it into a trailer to tow behind his hotrod. Not going to go nuts on it since I paid 50 bucks and it's missing damn near everything. Maybe a repaint and a wooden top & call it a table. I need the bottle opener & cap catcher box that goes on the outside if anyone has a line on one. The Dr Pepper machine in a 10 cent machine from the 50s and is complete minus the coin mechanism so I may try to get it working. Time will tell if it ever holds cold soda or if I turn it into a gun cabinet. The Coke sign, some of you may recognise from "Clints" on the Old Newport Highway heading into Pigeon Forge TN.

You can see several of mine in this pic. I have a mix of mostly original signs with some repros.
