Maybe you all would enjoy a road trip this summer to Cincinnati and The American Sign Museum?

It's not an old sign but I thought it was worthy of this thread. I saw this article recently,

...and remembered I might have this one laying around somewhere. I did. So I got it framed and put it in a prominent spot in the garage.

I got the first two from my inlaws when they sold their house.
I drove to Oklahoma City for the Alfa Romeo dealership sign. Got it for $75 plus gas money. I plan lighting it at some point.

Does anyone know where I can get a sign made? I am talking about being able to send them the picture via email and have someone recreate it on metal...?

Cheers,

You have some very nice pieces there, Over in australia those crowns are worth a fortune, I hope you put more pics up or even show your garage with it's items in the garage gallery section.thanks for sharing.

What did you have in mind, if you can put a design up it might give us a better indication of what is required, eg: flat square sign or embossed, multi coloured and so on. I have made a couple of basic ones for myself and there is another guy on here that makes them out of plywood that does a great job. I live in Australia so it would not be economical for me to try and build one for you.

here is one i created

Knoxville Iowa hosts the National Championship Sprint Car races every year. The town used to hang a sprint car sign from every light post downtown. For some reason they decided not to have them anymore and I got one. Now it is hanging in my garage.

Picked up this old Monroe Clock from a guy cleaning out all his entire garage. It was pretty crusty but it cleaned up nice, a new tube in the back and it keeps great time too.
