Not really signs, but a few vintage nail aprons and a banner that hung over the N14 Engine Assembly Line at Cummins Plant 1 in the late 1990s and early 2000s before being decommissioned and this banner was discarded (and 2 years later rescued by me).

Don't have a lot of signs around the shop, but here are a couple of my favorites.
One is truth in advertising and the other was hand painted on some recycled fence that is now siding on one of the storage sheds.

Went to a car show / open house at the Surf City Garage in Huntington beach a few weeks ago and as I was surfing through the Journal I ran across this thread again and thought of the signs hanging in Surf City

I like all those license plates! How did you attach them to the pegboard? I can never get mine to sit flat using peg hooks. And the wind blows them off when I work with the door open. Thanks

I don't know if these count or not because they belong to my customer, but they're definitely OLD. Originally covered in porcelain and the physically largest job I've ever done (each letter is at least 3 feet tall), I had the pleasure of refinishing them a couple years back when the company painted their building and wanted a new look.

Billy HAD to have pictures of me 'playin with my Big O.' :D LOL

And here's what they used to look like back in the 50s when they opened.

My papaw owned a small town grocery store & gas station in the 60-70's. This hung over the beer cooler my whole life growing up. Now it hangs proudly in my shop. The prices are still there from 79 when he closed the doors for good.

Got this one from work. Not sure how old it is, but it's got kind of a deco vibe going on.

Heres an almost perfect "Piles Wonder" enamel sign I picked up over in France at Easter, just one chip on the front and it was damn cheap too. Looks like its only ever been up inside.

I also picked up a few more old oil cans for my collection.

I am restoring a sign like this. It had red and white bulbs that alternated flashing.

Picked up a couple of news ones for the shop yesterday at the Watson Lake Car Show/swap meet. Not sure how old the Clinton sign is but liked the colors and it is in really nice shape.

Just finished restoring this one a few weeks ago. Used a headlight restoration kit on the slat board parts. Dates from the early 70's.

Potato is spelled incorrectly.
Potato-singular.
Potatoes-plural.

Cool sign though, there are many BBQ restaurants around here still using those signs.
