I'm ordering some Red Kap clothes for working In. I know they make work uniforms for several industries. I have their Carhartt style coat and like it a lot. Anyone have much Red Kap?
I've used Red Kap before as issued uniform pants. They seem okay, never had an issue with them. I think Dickies fit better but Red Kap seems tougher, more industrialized.
Chainsaw dealer was given some sample Red Kap stuff to see if he could move it and, of course, then stock it regularly. I was looking to buy a Carhart barn-coat of some sort, happened to mention this to him, and he whipped out this RK coat. Made me a very low price, I have been wearing it for 7 or 8 years now. Very well made, high quality. I had never heard of Red Kap, but based on this coat, I would not hesitate to try other stuff from them.
I wear Red Kap at work, and often when off. I like their Crew shirts and pants for work. Their oil block shirts do a great job of blocking oil but, they don't like heat or flames. RedKap.com has sales every so often. Quality slips a bit each time they move manufacturing further south. Most of my recent items are hencho en Honduras.
