I love the green Snap On's. I have almost the same sets. Just missing the long hook and pick set and a set of seal drivers. I also have the extra long flat and Philips set.

Just an opinion...

But...

Meridian Tool in Oklahoma City may have the largest collection of Proto Yellow Handle Classic Professional Screwdrivers in the known universe...

Harry Epstein did have a couple of 18 pc sets, the large "Pry bar" looking slot head, and several different types of loose drivers...

But, Meridian is in the lead...

I've got mine, but if I was in Oklahoma City, and needed some great screwdrivers, I'd be all over the stash at Meridian Tool...

hmmmm.... I haven't been to Meridian Tool in quite some time. I know that they used to have a selection of SK stuff and a real mix of other manufacturers stuff. I hadn't thought of screwdrivers...

It looks like they might have a web site now too... http://www.meridiantool.com/

That's a lot of Wera screwdrivers!

I have a few Facom sets that fit in 1 drawer with no overlap in sizes... a torx/resistorx set, a slotted set and a phillips/pozidriv set.

Who manufacturers flathead screwdrivers with WIDE blades? I am tired of all my screwdrivers wobbling around in the screwhead, coming out, slipping etc etc...

These are all new old stock for back up I guess. It would take an hour to find what I needed. Not my most organized drawer.

Some of my frequently used screwdrivers. First, generals. The Snap On set is my 'dirty' set, and the Matco set sees mostly clean work, but gets dirty when I need the grip/control. I'm sad to say that after coveting SO hard handles for years, the Matco/Witte drivers outstrip the hard handles in just about every way. The tips fit perfect 95% of the time. The torque feel is phenomenal. 98a6da38e7b73ba3deba1327638d5650.jpg
Then electrical work. Mostly Klein here, but plan to slowly change over to Wiha or Felo 05320b213829eb0c111b42d94a9a5e4c.jpg
Then electronic. Snappy general electronics pair, Wiha precision (some of my favorite screwdrivers anywhere) a7fb3c47d6270220bba1d0d09a9a800b.jpg
The extra long set is not shown because I have some out for warranty.

Funny Witte should come up right this second...

I have two other tabs open on my browser. One for a set of Matco branded Wittes on eBay and the other for a 6 piece set of Witte Maxxpro Plus at Home Depot. Incredible price IMO. I already own a Matco/Witte P2. I'm loving it so far. I can really put a lot of torque into the grip.

Here's a link to the Home Depot set: http://www.homedepot.com/p/WITTE-Ma...er-Assortment-Set-6-Piece-9T-663831/100668971

I love mine! My Snap-ons (and others) sit unused while the Maxxpros are getting all the use. I don't have this exact model(s) as linked, I have the drivers with the hex bolsters...the only thing I don't like is the lack of marking on the top of the screwdriver. I ended up sanding and putting an etching primer to make a "-" on the top of the slotted screwdrivers.

I don't buy sets. Hell I don't even buy new drivers unless I've already got a style I like. Some things I use big handles others I like the more compact handles. Various lengths come into play as well for me

What does everyone think about Gearwrench screwdrivers?
Looking at the 20 piece 80066 kit for $65 shipped from Amazon. Comes with the organizer tray too

I have a couple of torx, they are ok, but I hate the handles. they may be ok for some, but I just don't like the shape and size, they feel kinda big. Have not used them enough to really see how the tips hold up, I got them for about $1 each using my speed perks at Advance Auto.

Hears my current set of screwdrivers, was not only short on cash but couldn't justify nearly 600 bucks on the Matco truck. These so far are holdin up really well. And they grip like crazy. a5c445b62161ec12b89c41f582fec461.jpg

No photos, but I was at a Mills Fleet & Farm in Fargo, ND over the weekend. To my significant surprise they had a large selection of Felo screwdrivers in a hand tool isle.

Felo at Fleet & Farm? Who'd uh thunk it?

How do you like the handle on those? I need to get some clutch head drivers for an old Chevrolet pickup. I'm debating between NOS SnapOn and new Carlyle with a similar handle to yours.

Hey toolmutt, I really like them so far. The handles are very comfortable in my hand and they're very grippy. Easy to clean too. Only thing is I wish the size stamping was more durable. I was using some Schaeffers Citrol to clean some grease off the handle and it took it right off. Other than that I have no complaints. The tips are awesome, really grab the fasteners, even some of the partially rounded out phillips head. 73c28d2e6ebc4f760133b3d07e0ac63b.jpg
