Welcome to GJ jalfaro. Thanks for the pic (quic?). And thanks for supporting Canadian manufacturing all the way from Costa Rica! :)

Picquic is an excellent product and very underrated by all in my book.

Thanks for the welcome, definitely picquic screwdrivers or the Megapro (Automotive) Ratcheting Screwdrivers versions are some of the many examples of Canadian talent in the design of tools.

"Picquic" screwdrivers deliver high quality and versatility (multiple tools in one, space saving and easy to carry) that are difficult to find in the field of screwdrivers, that means that I have at least SIXPAC PLUS always within reach

Great set . A question 84TurboBuick, the screwdriver with the white cap at the end of the handle, is a Craftsman bit screwdriver? how you feel about the performance of this?

I've never reached for a screwdriver and realized I didn't have one that would work. I'd like some nicer ones, but never thought I needed more. Looking at most of these collections though I feel pretty inadequate.

I've since added the free HF set I got last trip. I'd say they're pretty crappy, but I won't complain about the price.

Nice bricks I have a 95 850 been in the family since new, deeded when I graduated college. I also have the same moose sticker.

Don't worry about the screwdrivers people here go way overboard. Seriously. Personally I've never even used a screwdriver on my Volvo that I can even think of. More for older power tools.

Looks like you're into stereo too, I had a round 15" Kicker Solobaric and a ZR360 in a previous car back in high school, 10+ years ago.

Now you've got me trying to think of where I have a moose sticker on my car. You must be looking at one of the older posts. My sons nickname is Moose, so he loves all the Volvo paraphernalia I have with moose on them. I even bought him a stuffed Volvo moose for his birthday this year.

You wouldn't use a screwdriver on an 850, torx is a different story though. I never had a real reason for owning torx bits until I bought a 1996 Platinum 850 wagon. I loved driving that car, but hated everything about working on it.

Honestly, I've only used it once or twice. But both times was for some goofy hard to reach screw...... both times it worked perfectly!

I just joined and this is my first post

The holders only come with 1 foam insert each , so I took it out, returned it to the store, got a new one and inserted the old foam insert right into the top half of the new one. Th foam insert fits right in the space as if it were made for it. I like having the insert in top because it helps the long screwdrivers stay in place better and I can place short ones up top too.

In my opinion, they should come with the extra insert and not to do so is a design flaw on their part.

Thank you 84TurboBuick.

Sears offers a model very similar to you have, and I would buy it because it is a little bit large than the model 43373 (the black bit screwdriver) I have now, and have a rotocap and bit holder in the end of handle. In particular those (1/4) bit screwdrivers are simples, efficient, and good quality of course

Aww let's not play that card... FWIW I would have used the thick "camper mounting tape". It's thick, closed cell foam that is adhesive backed. It would work perfectly. Rolls are cheap and the uses are endless.

The one thing about that driver is that the tip swivels and bends (sorta like a universal socket). It has a threaded collar that you can move up and down depending on how much travel you need. If you tighten it down all the way then it becomes just another bit driver.

Here's my son's screwdriver drawer. His favorite color is green, so I hooked him up for his birthday.

Seeing a lot of stuff that looks like its never been used.

Yup. My pic is brand new screwdrivers.

The Snap On's came out of the wrapper and my son said, "Dad, can you post a pic on GarageJournal for me?"

Um, actually he used them once to put a fresh blade in the utility knife for me.

I personally go with SO drivers, and I have not lost any yet, knocking on wood as we speak.

Nice collection of SO hard handles, Wera's, Cman pro, and clear handles!

Still love my old Cman pros! I like them better than my SO hh's! (I know I'm crazy like that) :)

I think I'm done picking up Cman pros....unless I come across a deal I can't refuse :)
