Here are my drawers. I love my orange Mac drivers. The Matco’s are new. I bought them baised off recommendations from GJ. I also added a pic of my Nut Drivers. I got them for Christmas and really like the handles. I may need to buy some matching screwdrivers.

I'm right at 65. Idk if that is too many or not enough?
That does include nutdrivers (I own 2), scratch awls (2), and 1/4 spinners (3). I also counted my vintage non-users, including a NOS Screwball ratcheting screwdriver and a Plomb keychain.

I do know I need to add a couple insulated drivers, possibly a #4 philips. Think I should probably get that in a 3/8 bit socket.

Thanks, when I saw it for cheap I couldn't say no. Not something you see every day. I got it with the used one in the pic, from a model train shop going out of business.

My dad has had one of those since before I was born, never new it had a name or ever seen the box. Nice.

We have one of those screwballs at the shop...I really don't see the appeal at all. I personally think it'd make a better fishing bobber than it does a screwdriver. None of us use it at work, it just sits in a misc tool holder.

I personally think the Xcelite and those USA made Kobalt screwdrivers are more notable but opinions are like...you know.

I've heard these are good for people who experienced hand pain or reduced grip strength. Personally I'm with you, much prefer my Williams/Snap-on ratcheting drivers for actual use.

The Xcelite is a lone 1/2 nos I got at a flea market for grins.

I bought those Kobalt USA strike cap/hex bolster screwdrivers when they were clearanced at my local Lowe's. Got 2 slotted, a PH1, and PH3 for something like $3/ea. Wish they would have had PH2 but those were probably the first gone.

I have a bit of nostalgia for Xcelite because those were the first nice precision tools I used when I was getting into electronics repair.

I couldn't get any of those Kobalts, they had odd sizes but if I can't get a PH2, I'm not buying. Those were great screwdrivers, sad to see them go, one of the last bit of really nice Kobalt hand tools.

And just for some tool p0rn. Only four aren't from sets, these are all PH2s. Sometimes I buy extra PH2s because they're by far my most used...and sadly I've added a cork Witte set and have a single Vessel wood components on the way.

From what I can recall, these were "made in US of US and global components." I really like the larger sizes, use the large slotted and PH3 the most. The smaller slotted bent very easily on a light prying task, I bent it back straight just gotta remember to use a stronger screwdriver or possibly the right tool for the job.

My new Wright screwdrivers arrived today.

Very nice! After buying some Kleins, I realized I like that style of handle when doing 'dry' work. Pratt Read makes those for Wright, and they seem like they're solid and well made. I also like the translucent red color.

Scout,

I just ordered a couple of those today!! Would have bought 2 more but HJE was out of stock on a few.

Bought one to try a few months ago and was very pleasantly surprised. It looks like a Pratt Read but the handle diameter is larger and really fits my hands.

Couple more since the pic. And others in a site work case. But my current drawer ................. The gray board with elastic loops was originally made to fit the lid of a large box I had customized for a tool box. When I got the 56" chest it just happened to fit a drawer quite well.

Sk, sk cabinet, orange hard handle Snap-on, green instinct Snap-on. Blue Williams ratcheting and orange Snap-on ratcheting. The orange hard handles are my favorite. Oh and one craftsman professional flat tip. d91afa4d6b12d3c3a5c56f3538bca87c.jpgdade25560dee6e1dd75e8e190a1cece6.jpge5b948691ee206cb19ea47662351416d.jpg

Mark,

I got mine through my work. I not sure where they ordered them. I like the feel of them. they seem well made. Several at work has used them for year's. so I figured at home, they last lifetime no more than I'll use them.

Reposting pictures from 11 yrs ago that Photobucket killed. Also some new ones. These are about 2/3 of my screwdrivers. The 1/3 missing are spread out in mobile tool carts, toolbags, and at my other house.

I'm a little surprised that Stanley barely gets a mention in this thread. So, thought I'd fix that!

Everyday drawer. Most of the Stanleys are up to 20 years old and still holding up well although some have been replaced as I've bought new sets with sizes I didn't have and replaced the high use ones Vessel are JIS Phillips and amazing quality - I'd change all the others for Vessel but they don't have the long shafts that I need for work and Stanley do. Blue/black Stanleys (France) are Pozidriv and work well when needed, but don't get a lot of use. The new Stanleys are China made and I don't like the quality.

I really like the three sided handles on the Stanley. Fit my hand perfectly and I can get more grip and torque from these than anything else.

1b30a037902d1585a888ba9d8be56e6f.jpg

Long shaft No-name Ebay brand Torx (used to get to door handle screws), Gearwrench nut driver set that I hardly ever use except for occasional Imperial sizes and some duplicates/spares

ad28c3ebd61756235170da4d6a314189.jpg

King Tony (Taiwan) Torx and Security Torx, King Tony nut drivers (I'd like to get some more of these) and precision, small drivers. Really tiny precision drivers are in a different drawer, not shown.

King Tony are up there with the best of the Taiwan and Japanese brands.

e34b42b39b125e3fdb45fb14672e3830.jpg

Oddbod drivers that I actually use plus some modified screwdrivers, Sidchrome through tang heavy duty drivers, Stanly electrical/insulated drivers and, of course, the ubiquitous impact driver that almost always works as a last resort.

5a29dd449992499a48ad86e1e3779be1.jpg

Bits and bit drivers. Lots of bits in Metric and Imperial plus some of the more unusual ones that I've come across over the last 20 years or more. Even with all these, a security tri-wing sunk down a deep narrow hole beat me recently. Had the right bit but no driver with small enough diameter to get down the hole.

The black/red Sidchrome ratcheting driver on the left is my "go to" if there's enough room. Stanley one is good too while the short Trojan is hardware chain junk, but serves a purpose when space is tight. In the centre are 3 low profile ratcheting spanner type drivers. The centre one is Gearwrench and is a lovely tittle tool that takes bits and 1/4" drive sockets and has a reversing ratchet and adjustable angle on the handle. Not much that that tool can't get to.

Nice! I have that set of Craftsman Pro black handled screwdrivers.

Some things have changed since that post. Some of the Craftsmans have worn out (were worn out then but I didn't want to give them up). And for most I have switched to Wera. I always did like the handles on the old Craftsman Pro / Industrial.

Here are the current screwdriver drawers. Some of the open space has already been filled in. The two "slots" missing drivers in the first pic are waiting for the #2 and #3 Wera 345 VSM parallel tip drivers (discontinued). Been trying to get them for several years.

Though it is not in use I kept the tool box that I had made just because.

As noted, I had more screwdrivers than those in the post above. I think I finally got pretty much everything sorted out. I haven't started opening drawers in the workbench yet in the garage, so there may well be more.
